I was watching the news the other day and I saw what people claimed to be the worst case of football hooliganism for twenty years. Coventry city fans vs Leicster fans. It got me thinking, how pointless is football hooliganism? I mean, groups of fully grown men fighting over a football and 22 overpaid divers. Just didn't get it really. They claim there 'hardmen', but theres nothing gayer to me than men fighting over other men. But what do I know im no football hooligan, maybe theres more to it than mindless violence.

I think part of the reason football hooliganism is still around is the glorification it receives from many recent British films portraying it as noble in some ways especially in Green Street.
